4 Ingredient Vegan Protein Brownies
7:13 PM
I love my sweets. I wish sweets were allowed all day, everyday. Sadly, they are not. But I can re assure you that I eat something sweet at least a few times a week! I don't like using sugar and flour in recipes . I usually make oat flour if needed. Sugar is such a bad thing for your body, especially when you get too much of it. I can't remember the last time I made something that actually called for sugar! Well I can, but a spoon full doesn't count! A lot of brownie recipes call for eggs, white sugar, butter and flour. Y-U-C-K. Heart attack. I almost had a heart attack reading a recipe I found on pinterest. It called for 1 1/2 cups of white sugar, 1/2 brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of butter. WHAT. I really hope people don't put that into their bodies!
These my friends, are so Delicious and only FOUR ingredients. Yes, that's right. FOUR ingredients!
And!
They are actually pretty good for ya!
Secret weapon! Organic Cacao powder! We use this instead of the nasty nestle cocoa powder. Raw cacao powder is extremely good for you!
Excellent source of iron, magnesium, phosphorus, copper and polyphenols. Cacao's anti-oxidant compounds occur in higher concentrations than in any other food.

Hands down the best Vegan Protein Powder Ever!
This is where the protein comes in. A lot of powdered proteins are different when it comes to baking, so if you are going to add this (which is totally just an option) then be VERY careful! Whey proteins are not the greatest when baking. I had very good results with this brand. This is the only brand we ever use! We purchase ours at Whole Foods, but amazon sells it for cheaper! They also have different flavors to choose from!
